TRYOUT INFORMATION - Mark your calendars now!

FC Class 1-- Highest Level of Play offered by League before District ODP

Select Class 3 -- Development teams with a multitude of training opportunities

The WESCO upper division programs are composed of teams of players from all our Clubs who are selected during league-wide try-outs for Class 1 (called "WESCO F.C.") and for Class 3 (WESCO SELECT developmental competition), starting at age group U-10.  Our Class 1 & 3 and U-16 teams play in CYSA District V, one of the 9 regional divisions of CYSA.  Their game schedules usually include playing in other towns within a 50 mile radius, plus several weekend tournaments.  These upper division teams practice two or three times per week.   CYSA also offers an Olympic Development Program (ODP) for all children aged 12 through 16.  Highly skilled players from District V play against ODP teams from other Districts.  Call the League if you are interested in more information about the ODP.

FC & Select Standards and Expectations

Our goal is for players to have fun and develop as soccer players and good persons.  We want players to become soccer fanatics and look forward to every soccer occasion.  We want players to have the desire to train on their own to improve their game.  Our goal is to have players become educated about soccer and watch it live or on TV.  We hope players will realize that dedication, hard work, and concentration will benefit them athletically as well as personally.
